Going in to the Edgenet Academy workshop we had no idea what to expect. To our delight we found the workshop to be very insightful, thought provoking, action driven, and it greatly exceeded our expectations. More importantly it was very clear that the Edgenet team was committed to working with the companies using the Edgenet service, and AutoZone, (The triangle), to not only improve the processes, but to improve the working relationship with these companies.
The smaller informal group setting is key, which makes it easier for people who are not comfortable speaking in front of a group to talk. If it had been a larger more formal setting it would have turned into a conference rather than a workshop, and you would have automatically lost input from the people not comfortable speaking in front of a group.
[It was helpful] having a mix of companies that offer application-specific parts, and non-application-specific parts. It was good for us being on the application-specific side to see what types of unique challenges they had, and to see the solutions you offered.
As far as the accommodations and entertainment, that was the icing on the cake and we cannot thank you enough for a great time.
